Listening in Connection: Felt-Perception Attention

On 20 April 2013, we came together at nSite to explore and deepen our practice of listening in connection both at the I-in-you (empathetic) and I-in-now (generative) level.

With Theory U (www.theoryu.com) offering the framework, an experiential journey unfolded and potent collective messages were coming through to be synthesized and shared.

We started and closed with "What are you hearing?" "What are you listening to?"

The other listens (no problem solving/coaching) - simply giving attention

followed by a pause and switching of roles

Through the Attentive Listening practice  

Partner's offer back the gifts they sensed and saw that was not revealed by the other

How can we bring Nature and the wider field into the experience. 

As the weather with the intensity of the rain was strongly inviting us inwards, the outdoor practice had to be shifted to another. The bag of resources was opened and Social Presencing Theatre showed up.

Two group of triads was formed.

Each individual was invited to bring a question/a problem/a decision they want to make into the experience.

Felt-Perception Sensory Field Learning Journey starts ...

What is the role of felt-perception in our daily life?
Where can the sensory field participate in our personal and work spaces?
Who is attuned to what matters to our heart, here and now, sparking our thoughts to bring meaningful action out there and now?

On 06 April 2013, a journey into our felt-perception began its movement
An integrated process was experienced
A welcoming circle brought all the feelings in the room into one breathing space
Finding meaning, by exploring our understanding of "personality" and "individuality"
Framing the context with "Awareness", "Awakening" and "Self" in the center
Facilitating a journaling process - following the published Theory U practice
Integrating music, movement and art as ways of expressing while deeply reflecting
Letting it all be, with an organically emerging instrumental composition by all, right there
Sharing views on the process with each other, safeguarding the content, rightfully theirs
"What stays with you?" a question which generated a collective story, harvested below
A circle check-out with "What color will you choose now?", revealing tones and hues
A closure with a collective lunch, nourishment in togetherness
An integrated process that brings individual in community into application

Itinerary /Schedule: April - June 2013
a minimum of 3 consecutive sessions per track

06 April - launching and entering a space of Awareness, Awakening and Self
20 April - discovering the multidimensional meaning of Connections, centered in the Body
11 May - creating our Images, and shaping their Movements
22 June - celebrating and appreciating our Relational field while grounding our vision in the Power of Place with nature and our sense of Lineage
(note: the Power of Place will  will be hosted in an ancient site in Lebanon, all other sessions in our space nSite in Raouche, Beirut)
